What? The world is too small to visit the same place twice! I made a promise to myself once that I will never return to a place that I have already visited. Fortunately, there are some countries and cities in the world that are worth returning to. Again, and again, and again…
1. Mexico

This picture says it all. Mexico has incredible landscapes, a very rich culture, friendly locals, delicious food (tacos!), a large variety of activities ranging from beach chill-out to volcano climbing, the best surfing spots in the world, crazy history, mezcal… Do I need to continue?
Mexico is my favorite country in the world. By far! It has everything I need to be happy and more. From the very first visit, I fell in love. People seem so happy. They smile and wave at you saying “Hola!” wherever you go. They are very helpful and are always willing to share whatever they have. (Once, on a bus in Oaxaca, a lady gave me a piece of Mexican chocolate, just because we had a nice conversation, it was so cute.) Also, when you are in a restaurant and Salsa plays on the radio, people will stand up and dance, just because. Isn’t it wonderful?
Here’s how the Mexicans take care of their culture, why is Mexico City worth visiting, and more…
2. Rome

The eternal city just has something to it. It’s not even the aromatic pasta dishes that you can eat at centuries-old eateries, or the mouth-watering antipasti, or even the dry yet light Italian wines that make this city one of the best I have ever been to. It’s the small, old streets that make you feel like you traveled in time. It’s the world-class Museums that regroup all kinds of art. It’s the ruins of Forum Romanum that help you imagine how the city once looked. And finally, it’s the Italians: elegant, charming, forever smiling, screaming “Ciao, Bella!” to every girl that passes by. To me, Rome is the most beautiful, mysterious and delicious city in the World.
Here is a little guide on how to get around Rome.
3. Wadi Rum

Some would say that it’s just a desert. There is nothing there to see… And that is precisely the point! The silence around you is overwhelming, the red sand burns your feet, the far-away mirage turns out to be a desert camp. Just a few meters from the Wadi Rum village you lose the phone connection. No internet, no phone calls, no distractions. It’s just you and the desert. But that’s not even the best thing about it. The bedouins are the real highlight of every trip to the incredible Wadi Rum. They lead a very simple life, breeding camels, making fires under the bare sky and showing those that are interested, what is their definition of a happy life. So simple yet so rich. Impossible not to fall in love.
